The maximum number of teams per sport per gender – due to the necessity to book the accommodation by the OC, the maximum number of teams cannot be exceeded. Registration will close respecting the deadlines, even if the list is not fulfilled.
The team selection procedure – in case the number of registered team exceeds the number of available places , selection will be made in accordance to the criteria decided by EUSA
Executive Committee, as outlined below.
The Registration will open on November 1, 2011, with relevant information published on EUSA www.eusa.eu and Organizing Committee’s website www.eusagames2012.com.
The EUG Regulations will be available end of November 2011. Arrivals & departures of the teams are expected in accordance to the sport schedule, which will be finalised also by the end of November 2011, and not for according to the entire duration of the Games period.

SELECTION PROCESS
If the number of received entries exceeds the maximum number defined in the technical regulations of the sport concerned, the following criteria will apply:
1. The entry nomination and deposit payment date;
2. The highest ranked team from those countries who finished in the top half of the European Universities Champi onships in the year preceding EUG will be automatically qualified;
3. The remaining places will be decided by EC by a wild card system taking into consideration geography representation and EUSA rankings.
